Our boat was actually big enough for me…..and yes, I am now wearing headbands full time and loving every second of it.
Yes, we were swimming in the same water with these guys

Not that you can see the pink dolphins, but I was swimming with them in this pic.

Martin and Dark Horse Al on one of our boat Cruises
This is the second of five journal entries from Rurrenbacque and the Pampas tour. This is exactly how I wrote it in my journal transposed.
April 25th-
Today….. Piranha fishing…. Yesterday… We swam with Pink Dolphins and hunted for Anacondas (which we did not find at all). We also climbed giant trees and jumped into the water from 30 feet up. At dusk, we watched a beautiful sunset over la Pampas. Today is our last day of the tour. We are hoping to spend a few days in Rurrenbaque to party and try to experience the small jungle village in its entirety.

Climbing and Jumping out of Giant Trees
Our resident degenerate Alligator that hung out by camp.
Anaconda Hunting…No we didnt find a damn thing
It is beginning to look like Orla and Martin are not going to have time to volunteer at the game park in Santa Cruz. They just do not have the time. Billy and Ben (my Aussie boys I traveled with for the first month) should be making a triumphant return to the scene. I am hoping they will want to go to the game park to volunteer. They have both expressed interest. Although, we just heard that someone was almost eaten by a Puma a few weeks back.
Our beautiful quarters on La Pampas
Last night I spent a really good night with Jenny (the Irish girl I played golf with in La Paz). I have not met many girls on my same wavelength in such a long time. Its a refreshing feeling. Its funny, I have met a lot of girls on the road and there have been so few that I have actually enjoyed their company. I am trying to talk her into playing more golf but she is not having it. I think she is scared of my skills.
It looks like I will be heading back to La Paz, hopefully to meet up with the Aussie boys, take care of some admin, and roll on with the next chapter.
