The “Beagle”, pictured above, has 200,000 miles on the odometer.

I am sitting here thinking about how my friends and I are leaving in less than 12 hours for a 3000 mile journey across the United States of America. We are starting in Baltimore and ending in LA and we are going the entire way in the pictured beauty above. I really cannot find the words to describe just how excited I am for this trip. I have a beautiful new website, a new fantastic journey ahead of me, and some of my best friends in the world to share it with. On top of all of this, I am even having a good afro day.

I wanted to post some video to give you an idea about some of the concepts we are throwing around for our Cross Country TV project. Take a gander at this excerpt of The BV show trying to explain to the world the new itinerary of our road trip. Thankfully, his US geography knowledge should improve drastically after this road trip.

Sidenote: The itinerary of this trip is most definitely going to change. Our plans are far from set in stone. I would say our plans are set in something like clay.

I think I should take some time to introduce you to the “crew of all road trip crews”.

Benny Vears aka “the BV show”, 24, Australia, World Traveler heading to Canada to become a huge ski bum

Matt Daddio, 25,USA, Seller of Land. Daddio is heading back to Baltimore to sling extremely large parcels of land after the trip. The rumor is that “Daddio” is connected to the mafioso in Southern Italy and makes close to 25 G’s a day. I cannot confirm or deny this out of fear for my life.

Dave, Matt, and I all went to college together while Ben, Jess, and I met while traveling through South America early this year. Together we come together to form something along the lines of Voltron.

In addition to glorious journey we are going to attempt to film a TV show out there. I do not want to go into detail as the project will not be finished and released until mid December.

NEXT STOP: Nashville, Tennessee unless we decide to stop and camp earlier

 

 

In case you were wondering, we are all most definitely huge idiots. Idiots in a good way though.
