Question: What is “Cross Country TV”? Answer: An experiment in Web TV
Question: What is Web TV? Answer: A new media that will have a dramatic impact on the future of television and the entertainment industry.

Cross Country TV –the project that I initially started in Late October– is just about finished. Over the course of the next three weeks I will be releasing 8 episodes that started in Baltimore and finished in the Grand Canyon in Arizona.
This project is the first installment of the future direction of where this blog is headed. I would love any feedback and comments you might have. If you have been following the blog you may have seen some tidbits and snipits of the footage while we are traveling. What I will be releasing are complete episodes and the finished project.
I am very proud of what we created and could not have done without the support of my traveling compadres Dave Binck, Benny Vears, Jess Ledger, and Matt Daddio. Also, I was very fortunate to have met Francis Cabatac who edited and produced the entire series. You will get a feel for his talent very shortly after watching his work.
The range of the videos is vast. The content goes from extremely silly and ridiculous back to solemn and powerful very quickly between episodes. I have to tell you, I am very proud of what we have put forth here in the form of an 8 video Web TV series.
It is not perfect. In spots, especially due to production limitations, we have sound and lighting problems. But, in a way that is why I think so highly of this. We were able to communicate a “real feel” through 8 (4 minute episodes), a very limited budget, and a run of the mill camcorder well suited for Christmas Morning recordings as opposed to high end video production.
