The most memorable and scenic part of our trip took place cruising through the four corners area in the US South West. This episode takes us through some of the most visually stunning landscape I have ever come in contact with. It also serves as a memorial to my friend Lola as I learned of her passing the morning before we drove into Monument Valley, Utah.

Sidenote: Francis Cabatac, my editor and producer went through hours and hours of footage to put together the final product that became Cross Country TV. In this specific episode, he really went above and beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Great job Francis. We are planning to work together on my Mt. Kilimanjaro project as well.

> To prepare for our upcoming Mt. Kilimanjaro climb, Marvelous Marvin and I climbed a small mountain– Old Rag Mountain in Shenandoah Valley, Virginia– last weekend and slightly crushed it. We felt like we were doing great until (4) 12 year girls zipped past us while quite possibly doubling our speed.

>Does anyone reading know anything about Tanzanian safaris? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. We are torn between the Serengeti and the Ngorogoro Crater. Marvin does not care too much as long as we see giraffes.
