Dave Ford Does Earth\’s \”The Coney Island Mermaid Parade\”

I just finished up my latest video highlighting underground travel activities in the great city of New York. We went to the Coney Island Mermaid Parade and somehow managed our way into the actual parade.

Coney Island is like the wild, wild west compared to the rest of New York City. It is a living, breathing freak show. Moreover, I think the locals would agree with me and applaud that description.

As usual, Francis Cabatac (Now intern at For Your Imagination) did a stellar job editing. Also I need to give much love to Matt Matossian who produced and shot the footage and Tina Holmes for telling me about this incredible event to begin with. I am embedding it here on Blip.TV because the quality is much, much, much better than on YouTube.

Your comments are much appreciated as always.

  1. We need to get you some mermen garb for next year. The blue polo is hardly festive. Does Mom approve of this naked lady parade? Mom, do you approve??

  2. Merman garb definitely would have put the video over the top. I didn’t really know what I was getting into. I have a feeling that Mom would approve of the naked lady parade as long as there was not any bad language involved. : )

  3. Debbie, You NEED to join my group of bitches in the Mermaid parade next year? We’ll make you a nice costume. Can you tell which one in me in the photo?

  4. Oh, and we have a full Neptune costume for Dave…

  5. Dave, looking good! New York must be treating you well my friend.

    Keep those videos coming!

  6. nice peice Ford. I think you could use some of my sarcastic one liners though.

  7. Hey Dave, great job on the video! Really enjoyed it.

  8. Tina, I’m in! Give me some seashells!
