A bit about me: I am in my early thirties, I live in the West Village in New York City.
I have traveled extensively through North and South America. I am a hiking enthusiast and have been on trekking expeditions in Patagonia, the Amazon, the Andes, the Grand Canyon, the Colombian Rainforest, and on my 30th birthday I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. I love extreme travel and wildlife trips and have visited Antarctica, the Serengeti, and the Galapagos Islands.
Spiritually speaking, I have been meditating for the last 10 years, I have worked with South American shamans/teachers, I practice yoga, love the Ashrams of upstate New York, and I go to Burning Man whenever humanly possible.
I work at a startup web video/social media company. I have been working in media and advertising my entire professional career–and have consulted in the fields of social media, online video, and branded entertainment.
I also compete in extreme obstacle courses, run half marathons, and love to ride my bike around NYC. Thanks for visiting my blog, I started it in 2007 and have written about many if not most of my travel experiences here.
